I would especially like to thank the associates at Golden State Foods for their hard work, dedication and perseverance over the last year. Their can-do attitude during these challenging times has been nothing short of inspiring. Once again, I truly appreciate this award and am grateful for the recognition."

Jason graduated from the University of Tennessee with a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and from Auburn University with a master’s degree in Business Administration. Jason has over 20 years of experience in the meat industry, working in a variety of roles including maintenance, engineering, continuous improvement, and operations.

He is currently the Senior Director of Operations for Golden State Foods’ state of the art processing facility in Opelika, AL which produces over 25 million hamburgers each week for restaurants throughout the Southeast US. 

Jason was nominated for being a passionate lean manufacturing champion and for being committed to making continuous improvements to IWS in all departments of Golden State Foods. Jason is a creative leader who will always think one step ahead and this is reflected in his highly committed and organized team.
